Final Score Eagles 40 : 51 Royals

On 3rd February, Eagles played Royals in the U19’s South Region league.

Eagles U19’s had a strong start due to their tight defence and slick attacking skills and managed to finish the first quarter up, with a score of 14-10.

Both teams played with great intensity in the second quarter and the gap in the score was closed by Royals, resulting to them having a 27-26 lead.

A very well contested game from both sides, with both teams putting in their full efforts and maintaining their intensity not only in this quarter but in the whole game which resulted in the score remaining close throughout. With the score after the third quarter only having 5 in it.

A huge well done to Sarah, who was our player of the match due to her proactive circle defence, taking lots of interceptions. Also to our whole team who worked incredibly hard throughout the whole game and played with resilience, even to end the score with 51-40 to Royals.
