Final Score: Eagles 53 - 44 Weston Park Blades. (W)
Eagles got off to a flying start knowing that this would be a tight game. The main objective being to gain an early lead and put pressure on Weston Park from the start. We did this very well finishing the first quarter 15-11.
Going into the second quarter we continued to work well as units and driving the ball to the shooters who put the shots up, as well as our defenders gaining confidence in turning more ball over, with the score being 27-34.
The 3rd quarter saw a slight change in line up with attack and defence marking tight on their players with a score of 41-31. Gaining a lead gave us great confidence for the final quarter with our crowd cheering us on.
Everyone continued to work hard making feeding into the circle look easy, with defence working hard to stop the ball going to Western Parks end. Eagles showed great determination and strength with everyone remaining calm.
Finishing top of the table and regaining our title of south regional champions. With the final score 53 v 44
