Final Score Eagles 18 : 4 Woodley

A great start by Woodley and some errors from Eagles meant a score of 2-3 to Woodley in the first few minutes of play, but some great midcourt play from Annabel, Eva and Isla coupled with some calm shooting from Imogen took the score at the end of the first quarter to 8-5 to Eagles.

Some messy passing from both teams in the second quarter but Eagles managed to raise the lead to 12-7 with Melody and Sienna creating some opportunities. The third quarter started with some missed chances from both teams but some feisty defense from Tamara and Izzy kept the score at 14-7 until a last push from Woodley meant going into the final quarter with a score of 16-10 to Eagles.

Some great play by Woodley in the last quarter took the score to a nail biting 16-14 with a couple of minutes left, but a final push by Eagles resulted in a final score 18-14.

Players of the match went to Woodley's goal shooter and to Eagle's Izzy for some great defending.
