Final Score Eagles 49: 44 Woodley

On 11th November, Eagles faced Woodley in the U19s South Region League.

It was an intense and well fought match. Strong attack and defence from both sides resulted in a 13-10 lead to Woodley after the first quarter.

Eagles had a solid second quarter, clawed back the deficit and took the lead. The defence created some amazing turnovers whist the attack were slick down the other end. Special mention to POTM Sarah who was solid in defence, picking off many intercepts. The score at half time was 27-22 to Eagles.

Continuing to push, Eagles extended their lead to 39-32 after three quarters and both teams continued to fight hard. Woodley started to bring the game back during the fourth quarter, but Eagles held on, continuing to play well and ending the game 49-44 to Eagles.

Shout out to Woodley’s GS who got POTM for her consistent shooting and movement. Thank you to Woodley for hosting the game and working us hard for the whole 60 minutes.
