Eagles U15 and U17 teams both won in their respective age groups in the Sisters n Sport Cup Finals. The finals were held on 25th July at Nottingham Trent University, with Eagles U15 beating Kingsway Power by 39-35, followed by Eagles U17 beating Chester by 30-27.

The U15 team were down after the first quarter, but managed to turn it around and put in a great team performance to secure the win. Player of the Match was awarded to Charlotte.

The U17s played straight after the U15s, with 4 of the U15s girls also playing in the U17s team. The U17 team also come from behind in a very tight match, and won by 3 goals. Maddi was awarded Player of the Match, much deserved after also playing in the U15 match.

The tournament started back in May, with matches often organised at short notice and involved some considerable journeys. But this gave the girls an opportunity to play teams further afield that they don’t normally get a chance to play against.
