On the 19th of January we had a home game against Weston Park Blades.
The first quarter was a slow start as we struggled to get the interceptions out of defence however our shooting was very accurate. We finished the quarter in the lead 14-8.
The second quarter changes were made which led to many great interceptions from defence and the shooters working together well in the circle. Weston came out with a strong, physical, fast paced game which Eagles had to adapt to. The final score at the end of the second quarter was 25-17.
In the third quarter the ball was flowing down court much easier which allowed Eagles to maintain the lead. The score was 31-25.
The final quarter the team was changed again to enable us to practice working with different people. We all worked well together which allowed us to produce the final score of 50-33.
Thank you to Weston for such a great, competitive game.
