Final score Eagles 48 : 34 CD Phoenix

Today’s game was against CD Phoenix in the U19 division 2. The first time we played them we lost 47-29 so today we wanted to show them how much we have improved since then. We put into practice what we have learned in training by doing a variety of centre passes and a lot of communication when defending. We were calm and collected during the game and everything in court flowed as people were reading off each other.

We had only 8 players today so this tested our stamina but everyone brought high intensity throughout the game. We played against players that were very physical but we played to the umpire’s game and pulled through, winning 48-34.

Phoenix was voted player of the match which was well deserved as she played exceptionally.
