On Sunday 20th January eagles played an intense game against Weston Park Blades in the u19`s south regional league.
In the first quarter, both teams came out with strong defence and attack which resulted in a draw of 9-9. Going into the second quarter both teams continued working hard, putting on the pressure with Weston Park Blades beginning to take the lead 21-17.
After half time Weston Blades changed a couple of players which resulted in a stronger defence and attack, and with a combination of mistakes from Eagles meant that Weston Park Blades began to widening their lead ending the quarter 36-30 ahead, a special mention to Weston Park Blades GD who received POTM for her excellent flying interceptions and movement throughout the game.
Weston Park Blades continued to put immense pressure on Eagles, but Eagles dug deep and continued to play with a high intensity, however this was not enough for Eagles to take the win with the match ending 41-33.
