On the 10th November Eagles U19 played Trinity U19s.
Eagles had a strong start with some great attacking play from the whole team and a series of turnovers leaving the score after Q1 as 8-15 to eagles. In Q2, some amazing defensive work and more turnovers led eagles to manage to pull ahead to leave the score as 14-27 to Eagles.
Q3 proceeded to be not as good as the first 2 but after a valuable team talk we went back on court and fought our hardest for the last 15 minutes with everyone putting in 100% resulting in multiple turnovers and some great attacking play. We ended the match with a great interception from the very well deserved player of the match: Katie Fisher who played amazingly all the way through (on her birthday!!) and won the match 54-30.
Thank you to everyone who helped and to all officials and to the fab Trinity team for a great game!
