Today the Eagles U19’s played MSN. Both teams started off slow (MSN had a player down for the first few minutes!) but picked up the intensity as the quarter went on. Due to some great defensive work and shooting, at the end of the first quarter, the score was 16-9 to Eagles.
At the end of the second quarter, the score was 29-17 to Eagles. The shooters were doing some great holding in the circle and the defence were continuing to turn over the ball, which meant we were up by 12 goals.
After some helpful advice from the coaches at half time, the defensive units made some amazing flies and turned the ball over which lead to some more goals to make the score 36-21 to Eagles.
In the last quarter, there was some great movement in the circle and some lovely feeds from the players.
The defence continued to get lots of great interceptions, which led to the final score being 48-27 to Eagles. Thank you to all the coaches and the parents, especially the mothers on mothers day for all their support!
