Final Score: Eagles 43 : 58 Weston Park
On Sunday 30 September Eagles U19 played a hard and tense game against Weston Park Blades, and with a slightly depleted team this was proved a hard match.
In the first quarter, Eagles pushed through, and stayed even throughout the quarter, which unfortunately resulted in one player injuring there ankle leaving the team with seven players. At the end of the first quarter it was 12 all, and throughout the second quarter it stayed very even.
By the end of the third quarter it was 41-32, and we all knew we needed to just close the gap of the result, with some excellent interceptions from defence, and great shooting, eagles ended the game on a positive even though the score was 58-43 to Weston.
The player of the match deservedly went to Summer, who had a slick game at WA, and was a great captain for the team.
