Final Score: Eagles 81 - 17 CD Phoenix

On 29th September the U16 Eagles team played CD Phoenix in the second round of the South Regional League. A flying start from Eagles with both great attacking and defensive work led to a 17-3 lead after the first quarter.

Continuing to push, the intensity wasn’t lost, leading 40-6 after the second quarter. Incredible defence from Katie and Izzy had Phoenix struggling to get the ball into their shooters and at the end of Q3 Eagles had a 62-14 lead.

Team goals were achieved, constant turnovers from the defence and slick attacking plays resulting in an 81-17 win. The amazing 95% shooting from Charlotte and 92% shooting from Libby certainly helped increase Eagles’lead throughout the game.

A great team effort and a big thank you to CD Phoenix who showed good spirit , all our coaches and our parents, 2 down and 12 to go!
