Eagles U14s competed in the England Netball U14 National Clubs Competition last weekend in Sheffield and won 5th place.  This was a fantastic achievement coming up against a number of very talented teams from across the country.

Saturday morning saw a 30-12 win against CFX and a 17-21 loss against Parkside, but two wins in the afternoon against Bath Cougars (25-9) and Swan Essex (24-14) meant that Eagles were guaranteed a top 6 finish on Sunday.

The two matches on Sunday were against teams from Netball North West, so we knew it was going to be a tough day.  In the first match against Kingsway Power, Eagles were within 3 goals most of the game but lost out 22-15.  The second match against Oldham was just as close, with Oldham taking the win 25-20.

Eagles did rally for the 5th place play off and beat Grangetown 22-18.  Congratulations to the whole squad Sacha, Izzy, Elissia, Sophie, Eloise, Isla, Tilly, Imogen, Sienna, Anya, Olivia Rose and Tamara.
