The U19 Eagles team played CD Phoenix in the first round of the South Regional Div 1 League. A good start from Eagles with both great attacking and defensive work led to a 16-5 lead after the first quarter.

Continuing to push, the intensity wasn’t lost, leading 26-12 after the second quarter. Incredible defence had Phoenix struggling to get the ball into their shooters and at the end of Q3 Eagles had a 43-21 lead.

Team objectives were achieved, constant turnovers from the defence and slick attacking plays resulting in an 57-26 win.

Well done to Katie Fisher for a deserved POTM, creating multiple turnovers throughout the game.
