Final Score: Eagles 52 - 44 Matrix

On 22nd September, Eagles U16s faced Matrix who we knew was going to be one of our toughest games.

Both teams went into this match ready to fight for a win after many weeks of preparation- fortunately Eagles came out with the win. We came out fighting hard in the first quarter which ended 14-10 to eagles; a great start but a close quarter. The first half continued with a tight scoreline with both sides turning over ball and contesting each other.

It wasn't until the last quarter in which Eagles pulled away showing our resilience and ability to perform in pressured situations where we finished the match with a score of 52-44.

Both teams performed amazingly with Libby Burgess being named Eagles' player of the match for her incredible movement and shooting skills
