Final Score: Eagles 65 v 25 CD Phoenix (W) 

Eagles Under 16s started the second half of the season with a solid win against CD Phoenix. After a four week Christmas break the team was keen to get back on court. We came out really strong in the first quarter resulting in us being 16 goals ahead.

In Q2 and Q3 there was a slight lull in intensity as we tried out some new combinations.  Our defence worked tirelessly producing some fantastic interceptions which prevented CD Phoenix from scoring many goals.

Some excellent movement around the circle led to a flurry of goals which left the final score as 65-25 to Eagles. Player of the match was awarded to Summer for outstanding work as Wing Attack and Centre.
